The power distribution box is the center point of the zone distribution grid. Models are currently available in heights as low as 1-3/4". This is the conversion point between hard wiring done by the on site electrical contractor and the premanufactured wiring system. Optimal efficiency is typically obtained by placing the power distribution box on a 20'-25' grid. Of course this only a starting point, as the boxes can placed to accommodate any situation. Circuit capacity ranges from four to sixteen circuits using a shared neutral - eight wire system or from three to twelve circuits using an independent neutral - eight wire
system. Circuit density will depend upon individual needs as determined by the electrical engineer. |

PDF File Format for Splitter
|
|
|
The Splitter is the component used to distribute the power to more than one location without running cables back to the power distribution box. This allows the potential to power up more than one wall panel, furniture feed or floor box from a single feed to the power distribution box. The splitter is available in both shared neutral 4/2/2 and independent neutral 3/3/2 configurations. |

Technical Specifications
Circuit Distribution/Capacity
General
- Designed to distribute 4 circuits (4/2/2) or 3 circuits (3/3/2)
- 4 port device with one male port receiving power and three male ports distributing power.
- The splitter receives circuits from the power distribution box by means of an extender cable. The circuits are then distributed to wall panels via other extenders or wall feeds.

PDF File Format for Extender Cable

The Extender Cable is the link between the power distribution box, the Splitter and moveable wall feeds, floor boxes, and/or single and dual cells. As with all other products, the extenders are available in both 4/2/2 shared neutral and 3/3/2 independent neutral configurations. The gender on the extenders is typically female to female however, male to male and male to female versions are available.

General Specifications
Components comes with:
-
Extra flex armored cable
-
Two quick connect female ends
-
2 oversized shared neutrals (10 gauge) when using 4/2/2 shared neutral system and 3 - 12 gauge neutrals when using 3/3/2 independent neutral system.
-
The two systems 4/2/2 and 3/3/2 are keyed differently such that they cannot be plugged together.
-
All cables are rated for 120 volt 20 amp service
- Extender cables are available in 5', 10', 15', and 20' lengths as standard, custom and longer lengths upon request.

Wall feeds are the same as extenders other than they only have one quick connect end and a 12" pigtail on the opposite end for wiring to the devices with in the wall box.
4-2-2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
- The 4-2-2 System is an 8-wire 4-circuit modular wiring system, consisting of 4 phase conductors, 2 neutral conductors and 2 ground conductors. This system utilizes a shared, oversized neutral conductor to eliminate any adverse effects caused by harmonics.
- Zone Distribution Boxes are hard wired with 4 circuits.
The circuit capacity per Zone Box may be increased to up to 16 circuits if necessary.
The 4-2-2 System is specifically designed for powering up 4 circuit based office furniture systems.
- Different office systems can be easily powered up by the Modular System and rendered "plug and play" by using our "Junction Box with a Whip" component.

3-3-2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
- The 3-3-2 System is an 8-wire 3-circuit modular wiring system, consisting of 3 phase conductors, 3 neutral conductors and 2 ground conductors. This system utilizes independent neutral conductors to eliminate any adverse effects caused by harmonics.
- Zone Distribution Boxes are hard wired with 3 circuits. The termination method of the grounding conductor determines which circuits are "Isolated Ground Circuits".
- The circuit capacity per Zone Box may be increased to up to 12 circuits if necessary.
- The 3-3-2 System is specifically designed for powering up 3 circuit based office furniture systems.
- Different office systems can be easily powered up by the Modular System and rendered "plug and play" by using our "Junction Box with a Whip" component.
